Southern Africa Explorer

An excellent, value for money trip. My sister was especially impressed, having little previous experience of camping. The office did an excellent job dealing with our booking.

Cape Town and Robben Island

Cape Town is a beautiful city located on the Western Cape in South Africa flanked by a pretty harbour and the famous Table Top Mountain. With a long shipping history it has become a favourite spot for settlers giving it a distinctive multilcultural population. Our tour delves in visiting the various cultural hearts; a short boat trip takes us to Robben Island, also known as "a place where great men met". It is here where Nelson Mandela spent some of his 27 years imprisoned but also home to mammals such as deer and Cape Fur Seals. This wildlife and exceptional views of Table Mountain provides an additional dimension to this experience.
