Everest High Passes

...we shouldn't finish without mentioning admiration for the endlessly busy Mr Lama. He like all World Expeditions staff we met, was very charming and knowledgable, this characteristic seems to be a requirement for employment with the company

Annapurna Machapuchare

This trek offers the opportunity to explore some of the Annapurna regions quieter trails, venturing into both the deep forests and the high alpine pastures to the base of the sacred, fluted peak of Machapuchare. We commence our trek through Hindu villages and lush forests, gradually gaining altitude as we hike north towards the superb alpine campsite at Guhe for sweeping panoramic views of the Annapurna Range. After reaching the base of Mardi Himal, a prominent peak to the immediate south of Machapuchare, we descend through the bustling Gurung villages of Landruk and Ghandruk to Pokhara.

traveller reviews

This was my first trek, I cannot recommend it enough, the location was
exceptional and the crew who led and supported us were off the scale
great. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a great
adventure, lots of fun and one of the worlds most beautiful locations.
