Costa Rica Traverse
The trip was wonderful, thanks! The local operator, Coast to Coast, were very well organised and especially Danny, the lead guide, was the best guide I have ever seen in action. It was a privilege to be guided by such a well-rounded and versatile person - from navigating and motivating the group, to cooking (delicious food) and patching up blisters. And always with a smile on his face.
I am already planning my next trip with World Expeditions - rafting on the Franklin River in Tasmania.
The Weather in Dominica
Dominica has a tropical rainforest climate with characteristically warm temperatures year round. Average daytime temperatures range from 26°C to 32°C. Evening temperatures can drop slightly to 22°C and down to 13°C on the highest peaks. Heat and humidity are tempered somewhat by a steady flow of the northeast trade winds. Dominica has a rainy season during the Northern hemisphere’s summer months (June – September). During this time potential hurricanes and other storms may develop. World Expeditions do not operate trips in Dominica during this time.
