Tribes of Eastern Kalahari
The San and Batswana people of the Eastern Kalahari hold a cultural heritage that spans over twenty thousand years. Traditionally hunter gatherers, they are people whose deep knowledge of the land has sustained them in the desert they call home. Our journey aims to give you insight into both the cultural history of the tribes as well as an understanding of the issues faced by local communities and the ways in which they are supporting themselves in a new paradigm. You will leave with a greater understanding of these fascinating and enigmatic people.
