Larapinta Trek

We had a wonderful time on our recent 8 day Larapinta Trek. The trip was made all the more enjoyable by the assistance of our guides Adrian and Craig. Their flexibility, steady temperaments, knowledge, friendship, experience, sense of humor and ability in the kitchen took all the difficulties out of our experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything that should have happened happened, and happened when it should have. They made the whole experience for us a simple walk in the bush. We could not reccommend them more highly.

Heysen Trail and the Flinders Ranges

The North Flinders Ranges offers some of the most stunning landscapes in Australia as well as some of the most attractive outback properties. Suitable for most walkers, this accommodated trek includes selected walks on our favourite sections of the famous Heysen Trail in the Flinders Ranges. The Flinders Ranges offer a rolling range of majestic peaks and rugged ridges, the trails combining exceptional views with enjoyable strolls and achievable challenges. The forests of cypress pines create an almost alpine ambiance in these semi-arid ranges with the dry climate creating ideal conditions for walking. This trip is operated in a comfortable style that features on many walks in our Australian program where you can enjoy walking with just a daypack while our agreeable accommodations offer comfort, stunning scenery and the best of outback hospitality.

traveller reviews

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The scenery was excellent, the walks were at the right level and at a good pace. The leaders, especially Shane, are to be commended on their professionalism, patience and good humour! Food was also excellent. Well done Shane and Ian!
