Great Wall Trek

I so appreciated to spend those days close to the Wall and not just to “fly in” for one day. This enables me to get a bit of a “feel” for the country. To be with the Chinese crew also was a privilege I won’t forget. Our tour guide gave us valuable insights. I am thankful that I could be part of this challenge, it was worth it.

Beijing and Great Wall Extension

A short extension for those looking to explore the best of Beijing and visit the Great Wall. Beijing is an extraordinary city with a wealth of iconic attractions, where local knowledge is essential if you want to get the most out of limited time. Our tour highlights include Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and walking tour of ancient Hutong District. No visit to Beijing is complete without a Peking Duck dinner and watching Chinese Acrobats and we do both. To cap off this fine trip we walk on the giant ramparts of the Great Wall at Mutianyu.

Brief Itinerary

DAY 2 Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and walking tour of Hutong. Early evening acrobatic performance
