Overland Track

Both Victor & Matt were extremely knowledgeable of the local area, the trail, the environment (plants & animals) as well as being good fun to spend time with. It was impressive that the food was fresh throughout the trip, deliciously cooked & it catered for vegetarian and gluten free diets within the group. Our bedding was warm & comfortable and we are already looking forward to returning to Tassie!

Across the Arctic Circle

The remote Scottish Isles are a treasure trove of archaeological wonders. We cruise to the Orkney Islands where we have the opportunity to visit Skara Brae, a 5000 year old Neolithic village and see an amazing sea stack known as the Old Man of Hoy. If conditions permit we will land on Hirta in remote St Kilda, a World Heritage Site with the world's largest colony of Guillemots. Closer to Norway than to Scotland, the Shetland archipelago offers a gamut of relics from the Viking occupation including Mousa, home to the world's best preserved broch. Continuing on we explore the spectacular Norwegian coastline, an intricate maze of rarely visited inlets and outer islands before crossing the Arctic Circle and sailing to the Lofoten Islands. Our final days are spent discovering the majestic beauty of Spitsbergen, where we hope to see Polar Bear or catch glimpses of the elusive Beluga Whale.
