Sri Lanka Wildlife
Think of Sri Lanka and the first things that come to mind are tea and wildlife and that's what we bring to you in this itinerary. We visit a number of Nature Reserves and National Parks to spot wild animals including elephant, leopard, deer, wild boar, water buffalo, monkey and jackal along with a variety of birdlife. We even jump on board a boat to spot dolphins and whales! Dotted throughout the itinerary are opportunities to gain an insight into Sri Lanka's fascinating culture and history, with time spent in the ancient ruined city of Anuradhapura, the island's medieval capital of Polonnaruwa, Kandy - the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, as well as the beach resort town of Negombo. A Sri Lankan adventure wouldn't be complete without time spent at Nuwara Eliya, nestled in a wooded basin at the foot of Mount Pidurutalagala, Sri Lanka's highest peak. But it's the region's tea plantations that will leave a lasting impression of Sri Lanka in your mind.

A truly wonderful wildlife holiday in a vibrant country! We were blessed to have seen a Leopard, Jungle Cat, Blue Whale and a myriad of birds in many different beautiful locations. It was also great to have been able to experience some of the Buddhist Temples and ceremonies with our guide. Finally, it would not have been the same without the lovely and fun company of my 4 fellow travelling companions, thanks so much.
