Annapurna Trek

What an absolutely wonderful time we had on the Annapurna Trek ...The WE staff and especially Dilli the tour leader were great. I can’t speak highly enough of them. Dilli was very knowledgeable, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The cook did a great job. The food was plentiful and tasty.

From the time we left home until the time we got back everything ran smoothly. Even the weather was good. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Nepal and hope to get back there in the future...I have no hesitation in recommending WE to friends.

Madagascar

Madagascar

Take an adventure holiday in MADAGASCAR with World Expeditions, one of the world’s leading travel companies.

Madagascar is an island nation in the Indian Ocean, off the eastern coast of Africa. Madagascar lies 400 kilometres off the east coast of Africa and offers diverse and spectacular scenery: mountains, deserts, rainforests, beaches and island archipelagos linked by coral reefs and clear turquoise waters.

The main island, also called Madagascar, is the fourth largest island in the world. It is the home of five percent of the world's plant and animal species, 80 percent of which are unique to Madagascar. Among its most notable examples of biodiversity are the lemur family of primates, three endemic bird families and its baobab trees.

Take a look at World Expeditions adventure travel vacations in Madagascar for a comprehensive exploration of the continent  and its fascinating history and wildlife.

The Weather in Madagascar

Madagascar has two seasons: a hot, rainy season from November to April; and a cooler, dry season from May to October. There is, however, great variation in climate owing to elevation and position relative to dominant winds.
