About one and a half hour south of Ngapali by local fisherman boat a traditional village called Maung Shwe Lay is welcoming you for a relaxing & fun day in the beautiful St Andrew’s Bay. We pick you up from your hotel by boat and have a leisurely ride across the sea to arrive in a perfectly shaped, quiet bay. Maung Shwe lay is a local fishing community where life stood still; we walk around the village and show you the local market, village school and library. We continue on foot to see a local brick factory and continue by oxcart through the village back to the beach. A small boat is taking you out in the bay for snorkelling right in the bay in front of the village to see plenty of coral and colourful fish. We have lunch with seafood at a local house on the beach and bring you back to your hotel in Ngapali around 4 pm in the afternoon.
