This morning, you will drive to Muang Khua, a small town settled on the confluence of the Nam Ou and Nam Phak Rivers. From here, you board on a boat downing the Nam Ou River. Travel down the tranquil river which is flanked by mountains and small villages. En route you stop at Ban Sop Jam, a scenic village with thatched house-on-stilts famous for silk weaving. Take a kayaking and witness the changing scenery while you get excited about the fun rapids along the way. Float beneath high-rising limestone cliffs towering directly overhead. Continue your visit to Tham Kaang Cave in Muang Ngoi, the former sheltering cave for local villagers during Indochina war (1960-1972).
