Upon arrival at either the Brazilian or Argentinian airport you will be transferred to the Melia Iguazu Resort & Spa in twinshare accommodation including breakfast. Though not the highest nor largest waterfalls in the world, they are a true spectacle and a must see for anyone visiting South America. Set in a lush rain forest, there are more than twenty-five different cataracts – some small, some absolutely massive. The largest of all is the Boca or Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). This afternoon you will undertake a sightseeing tour of the Argentinian side of the falls. The evening is at leisure to relax.
Note: All passengers with accommodation in the city of Puerto Iguazu must pay a Municipal Tax. This tax is collected in pesos by your hotel at check-in (approx USD$1.50 per person per night). The hotel will provide a receipt and this should be carried with you to avoid being charged again if visiting the Brazil side of Iguazu Falls.
